MINISYS for the WEB© ist in Bezug auf die einzusetzende Hardware sehr anspruchslos. Es gibt MINISYS for the WEB© Installationen, die andere Systeme abgelöst haben, bei denen ganze Rechnerbatterien gegen einen bzw. zwei handelsübliche PC's getauscht wurden. Wohlbemerkt nicht nur ohne Leistungseinbußen, sondern grundsätzlich mit Leistungssteigerungen verbunden.

Sämtliche PC's müssen selbstverständlich über eine Netzwerkkarte und ggf. über ein CD bzw. DVD Laufwerk verfügen. Die vorgegebenen Werte gelten nur ansatzweise ohne Anspruch auf Verbindlichkeit. Als Server LINUX wird die jeweils aktuelle SuSe (Novell) Distribution empfohlen. Als LifeCD für die LowCost Clients bzw. für die Minimalkonfiguration der LINUX Server wird    Puppy in der Version 2.16  empfohlen.
